“Blessed be the name of Jesus.” (The Divine Praises)
Mercifully united to Christ Jesus in the Holy Eucharist,
Surely this is an offering most pleasing,
For Jesus is our supreme offer, our worship.
We offer back to our Father the love,
That true love which mercifully saves us from sinfulness.
This is a love most perfect because it belongs to Christ Jesus.
By grace He shares His love with us, out of mercy.
Our highest hope of obtaining holiness is in Jesus.
“Blessed be His most Sacred Heart.” (The Divine Praises)
We offer to our Father, the Lord Jesus’ Sacred Heart,
His merits too, accomplished through a fully righteous life.
Without this we lose the highest benefit.
The most precious blessing addressing us
Is in the sharing of the real presence of Jesus,
He who is Christ the King of love, a most merciful love.
It is by being united by invitation to this holy heart of mercy we worship,
In all praise with due thanksgiving now and eternally.
“Blessed be His most precious Blood.” (The Divine Praises)
“Blessed be Jesus in the most holy Sacrament of the altar.” (The Divine Praises)
“O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine”
“O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.”
“O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.” (A traditional prayer)
For Lord Jesus, You are life to us in all the promised fullness of Your holiness. Ever we would praise and thank You, delight in receiving You. Our help and our hope is in You.
It is through You we can praise our Father for all the mercies of His love, this redemptive love that atones for all our sinfulness. “Let Your merciful kindness be for my comfort according to Your word to Your servant.” (Psalm 119 v 76)
Our prayers are heard because Your Father accepts Your love for us, Lord Jesus. You have made us of right standing, enabled to pray and ask for help.
Thank You for being the Divine Healer, atoning for our sinfulness at the † of forgiveness. By grace we are saved, for we have nothing worthy of ourselves to offer our Father. You change this.
“The wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the legacy of fools.” (Proverbs 3 v 35) Thank You for all the wisdom and truth You lay before us, spelling out the need for holiness and the method to accomplish
this.
“Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD...” (Psalm 124 v 7, 8) Your name, Lord Jesus, the Conqueror over sin and death.
“...that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” (John 3 v 6) and You send the Holy Spirit to us for this very purpose, all thanks ever be. The Lord God in His mercy, sent You to us to live the perfectly holy life we must aspire to, then to die on the † for our forgiveness. For God so loved the world that He gave You, His only begotten Son, that through You we would be saved.
We are saved from sin and satan for we are redeemed! “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world...” (John 3 v 17) but to show us His mercy, His extraordinary love.
This is love by choice, by design, by decision, an act of kindliness unsurpassed in the history of mankind. We are gifted a Saviour, who is a Brother so we can recognise what our Father wishes to accomplish, our
salvation.
What a blessing is this highest good for mankind freely given. All we have to do is to accept the gift and respond according to such unconditional love and mercy.
You are our Saviour Redeemer Restorer, the King of Glory, all praise with thanksgiving ever, ever be. Our Father’s motivation, like Yours, like the ever active Holy Spirit, was and is and ever will be love, a love that
gives of His self, the Trinity.
Our Father gave us His most precious possession, His best. This was for the specific reason of our salvation, that we be made ready to enter heaven, our final, most joyous destiny. There we will be happy forever,
together with You, our Saviour.
We have been restored by grace to favour, and this is an eternal blessing, a promise, for attempting to love in return, offering our service to this end, “ ‘...Where I am’” You say, “ ‘My servant will be also. If anyone
serves Me, him (her) My Father will honour’.” (John 12 v 26)
Your love is servant spirited, the finest, highest example of how we should live to give glory to the Trinity, as we attempt to serve the needs of the world in Your name, Lord Jesus. And our reward – not that we should
need one – is heaven!
Thank You that we can live to serve You and so honour and delight our Father. May the Holy Spirit ever guide, guard and back our efforts to make them truly worthwhile, especially effective in honouring our call to
Christianity, in serving You as the King of Glory.
The world has a Saviour and a Sanctifier, all praise ever be for all You make holy. How vital is the Holy Eucharist, a sacrament of such grace, a true, full, rich, rich blessing uniting heaven and earth.
“Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me bless the holy name of the Trinity,” (based on Psalm 103 v 1) who offer us such a profound love and mercy in offering us their love.
“Bless the LORD” the Deliverer, the Saviour, the Sanctifier “O my soul” and my spirit. “And forget not all His benefits.” (v 2) For where would we be without holy love’s mercy? We would be souls lost to the eternal
blessing of God’s company.
But we are saved and sanctified that the Lord God be ever glorified! Forgiven and redeemed there is complete provision for mankind’s wellbeing. “How much more of God’s glory will be revealed through the ministry of His Spirit?” (2 Corinthians 3 v 8 The Truth) You send Your Spirit to us, Lord Jesus, to ensure our behaviour is befitting to being made righteous and acceptable to our Father.
You live in us, You come to us in the Holy Eucharist, that this glory is supreme and lasts forever. You are our Forever Saviour and we praise and thank You, bow low before You, as You have pre-eminence over all
creation.
It is through Your death on the †, re-presented to us in each and every celebration of the Holy Eucharist, that we are made holy before our Father. One day You will present us to Him, free of any of satan’s accusations.
A rich inheritance awaits us in heaven. May we do nothing to forfeit this, never impair the hope we have of Your eternal joy being shared with us. You come to us in all the fullness of the power of holy love and mercy.
Our heavenly Father, in His extraordinary love for us as shown at the †, has revealed to all who believe in You. Lord Jesus, the fact that You have come to live within us, this reality is celebrated in the highest
sacrament.
In You alone is the glory mankind can see and become a part of, all to the delight and honour of the Trinity, as You present all of us as having been made perfect by You. What a wonderful prospect! Ever let us offer all
praise and thanksgiving, for life, for redemptive love and for the Holy Eucharist. We are a redeemed family!
Amen.
